Ocean: A Heartful tale

At its calm it reflects as much as it gets
Turbulence though can cause a lot of unrest

Lucky are those that can swim in its tide
Beware though don’t take it for a ride

It’s strong enough to destroy a civilisation
Yet, its so week it can’t handle a separation

It ebbs and flows to the tune of the moon
Spirits rising each time it sees her in full swoon

It’s so vast even mankind knows not its end
It’s furls encompass everyone that is a friend

Careful when you boil it for it will surely destroy
Your cold touch too can leave very little to enjoy

It’s filled with tears some happy some sorrow
With enough love for those that know to borrow

O Sailor! It opened up to you for you to thrive
Your impunity though will leave no one alive
